A new Start in my life!

Hi everybody...kayak gw kesannya ada audience aj..hehe
how are we doing today? (what my boss always ask)

Udpate regarding my life..
March will be a big month for me soalnya it will be marked as my life turning point!

Planning to go back home to indo this march..yup going back forgood this time

Trus after from excited to worry and exhausted, I have decided to turn to God totally.
Since it’s a big decision made, I want to prepare myself..
Mentally and spiritually and the only best way to do that is to turn to God

So starting today, I will write my devotion..my heart to God
Kinda keeping a spiritual journal instead of just writing about my life..

So this morning, baca devotion about Proverbs 25:28 that I posted earlier.
A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls. Proverbs 25:28 (NLT)

It reminded me about self control and it says:

ü People with self-control master their moods.
They do not let their moods master them. Most of what gets done in the world is accomplished by people who do the right thing even when they don't feel like it: "A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls." (Proverbs 25:28, NLT)
yg ini very true and I thanked God for always reminded me about it. Indeed Lord, I am a sinner..
always being so easy to be controlled by my own mood and emotions. So I want to exercise my self control. I want to master my moods..
I want to memorize this phrase from Proverbs 23:25…because just by memorizing, u can always remember God’s message
“A person without self-control is like a city with broken down walls..what does it means?it means dat without self-control, we are like no defense at all..
Like a person without any armor..we can’t even stand one strike. Like a human without defense, can be easily taken down by demon.
I want to be practice this and I really want to exercise my defence..level it up…cus in Indo, there will be bigger obstacles..
All this time di US, it is just a training grown. Going back home to Indo is like a true war..
May God grand me my wish to stay alert all the time…to be aware of the war going on and to discipline in training my self so that God can uses me to do whatever He wants..
This exercise will include discipline in going to PM, doing my devotion and closet time with God.
The key is to get things done although I don’t feel like it..
So today, I will finish my sales tool project, start sorting my cloths, pray and devotion although I might don’t feel like it

ü People with self-control watch their words.
They put their minds in gear before opening their mouths: "Be careful what you say and protect your life. A careless talker destroys himself." (Proverbs 13:3, TEV)
This is very true...be careful of what you say and protect your life. A careless talker destroys himself (proverbs 13:3)
Careless talker destroys himself..this is what make friendship destroys..make relationship destroys..
Our mouth and words is like a 2 headed sword..it can kill and torture..
All this time Lord, I have been growing up with many torture from words..
But because of that, I am just used to it..but I DON’T want to be a person that hurts through words..i don’t want to destroy relationship and myself..
So yah kalo ad yg buat marah or I felt disappointed or even irritated, I need to stop first before talk..think first before talk
Need to remember proverbs 23:25 and proverbs 13:2 now.

ü People with self-control restrain their reactions.
How much can you take before you lose your cool? "If you are sensible, you will control your temper. When someone wrongs you, it is a great virtue to ignore it." (Proverbs 19:11, TEV)
I used to face this big obstacle..before I know and receive God totally I was a sinner..i couldn’t control my reactions..i have so much anger that I don’t know where did it come from.
But thanked God so much..I have been set free..thanked God that He shaped me here in US..where it is not so easy to get tempted..
But still I need to control more of my reactions because as God says that If you are sensible, you will control your temper. When someone wrongs you, it is a great virtue to ignore it (proverbs 19:11)..what is the message from proverbs 19:11? It means that smart people know how to hold their tongue. Their grandeur is to forgive and forget.
I believe that in this message, God is saying that we know how to hold our tongue..we know! We just don’t do it..
And if we want to be wise, smart person, it it what smart and wise people do..it is their grandeur to forgive and forget..
God wants to teach us that to be a wise and smart person according to God..we need to have self control to restrain our reaction..to control our temper and hold our tongue and to practice forgive and forget…
So I want to forgive and forget everything went wrong while im in seattle and practicing the attitude to Indo

ü People with self-control stick to their schedule.
If you don't determine how you will spend your time, then others will decide for you: "Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:15-16, NIV)
This is very true and I’m a true victim here..have been spending my times for something that I don’t remember of. “…the days are eveil” Ephesians 5:15-16 is very true..
When we don’t stick with our schedule and manage our time wisely..days just pasted and we wasted all the opportunity to do something great and productive for God.
I really feel this especially now..
Since I have put a timeline to go back to Indo this March..i finally realize that I have only some weeks to do everything that I haven’t do..
Which a lot of regrets in it..but now that I know..i want to repend..
I can see this problem happening a lot in Indo if I don’t watch my self..because time flies faster..it spend in traffic, in dealing with long procedures..
So what u are going to do with that? Well..we can turn everything to be productive..
We can use traffic time as quite time with God..although might not be that easy but nothing is impossible for God.
We can exercise our self-control while dealing with slow process or people and as for me, if it’s the slow process, I could suggest an improvement if necessary..

ü People with self-control manage their money.
They learn to live on less than what they make and they invest the difference. The value of a budget is that it tells your money where you want it to go rather than wondering where it went! "In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has." (Proverbs 21:20, NIV) ‘
This is a great enlightening..i haven’t be a person who manage their money well..i have been destroying my money and being a foolish..
But now I have change little by little and seeking to change more to be better..proverbs 21:20 “in the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oul, but a foolish man devours all he has” this is telling me that the wise has more..while the foolish destroy everything and left with nothing..
I have been a foolish but I want to be wiser..by the grace of the Lord..my eyes are open and by His power I am change.

ü People with self-control maintain their health.
That way they can accomplish more and enjoy their achievements: "Learn to appreciate and give dignity to your body ...." (1 Thessalonians 4:4, MSG)
This is also something I am lack…i am learning to watch my diet and I will need to do more exercise because how can you be a body of Christ that is weak and unhealthy..not only we already unhealthy spiritually, but we are also unhealthy physically and mentally…
That’s why for God..we need to “learn to appreciate and give dignity to your body..” 1 thessalonians 4:4
