"Living With Purpose"

Proverbs 19:21 "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails"
Acts 13:36 "For David...served the purpose of God in his own generation.."

Today is the 40th day of my reading of The Purpose Driven Life book...
It is talking about thinking and writing down what is our Life Purpose, our center of life, etc..
For this, I should dedicate time and pray for it..I need to search deep in my heart together with God through Holy Spirit.

Today, I'm blessed...Once again my prayer answered by God. I got my period..
I'm happy..that's what my period means..all of this time..it's been 4 months since the last time i got my period..it means that I have lost my joy for 4 months..but now i realize that i actually never lost my joy..it's been always in my heart and in my life..it is my flesh that cover it up..
it is my self, my mind that captivate my joy..

The joy from God that has been given to us will never disappear.. It is eternal in our heart and in our life..we just need to uncover them..we need to release it..

Tonight, I watch a movie called "Red Cliff 2". It's a Chinese war movie back in the 3 Kingdoms story..
Somehow the massage today that I got about living with purpose can be seen in the movie.
In the movie, it shows many talented, loyal people and solders who's life purpose it to serve their King or to protect loved one or to fight for life..all of them fight and died with a purpose...
They fought endlessly...some I might say have fought bravely..
If they could fight like that with a purpose other than God, what about us?
How about us? Will we be like that?

We are in a war.. a war of flesh..
We are solders..solders of God..
If we say that our Purpose if God..our life focus and center is God..shouldn't we be fighting more victoriously, more brave, more energy, more loyal and faithful for God?
